When it comes to business etiquette, if you are deciding to launch your own mobile marketing campaign, it is important to leave your customers with a positive impression of your brand image and quality, particularly when sending marketing communications that intend to build trust and confidence. At a glance, the initial thing customers will notice is the subject line. If this is an opening contact with a customer based on their subscription request to join your program, make sure to have a short subject line that indicates clearly what the topic of the email is. Grammatical errors, typos, all caps, or all small case can create the false impression you may be a spammer and increase the chance that your marketing email will quickly be deleted and sent to the junk mail folder.

To prevent this, it is best to offer your customers a clear benefit or special deal when communicating with them.  Create an entertaining advertisement, make it personalized, or even customize it to the individual’s needs after acquiring accurate user data; offer them a direct benefit for their loyalty or return visit. In a marketing campaign’s brand communication with consumers, it is important to establish an open trusting relationship.  This will attract more users and help generate positive reviews for a product or service.

When sending marketing emails, communicate as if your message is professionally written on your company letterhead using black text and standard fonts.  Be cautious when adding Cc: or Bcc: to your email communications and respect consumers privacy. Be extremely courteous when greeting your customers in marketing communications, because they will remember your kindness. It makes a difference when you can remember your customers by their first and last names.  Properly addressing them while respecting their privacy can establish a lasting trust.

If you are replying to a consumer, it shows intelligence when you edit and remove parts of previous correspondence and any unnecessary clutter that no longer apply to your current conversation. Stay relevant to the email’s subject line or create a fresh email and new subject entirely.  Add contacts into your address book frequently so that it will help save time in the future by allowing you to easily send your contacts new emails.

Finally, always do your best to respond promptly to customer inquiries, problems, or complaints.  The more attention you give to your marketing communications, the higher success you will have in engaging your customers to build a lifetime of value for your business.
